PARTY WALL

 

The Party Wall Act received a Parliamentary mandate in 1996. This Act protects the rights of owners of any adjoining walls or structures by ensuring that areas of work to be undertaken are duly considered to avoid any works causing damage to the relevant boundary.

The practice has undertaken numerous commissions under the Party Wall Act, acting both for the person undertaking the works as well as the adjacent neighbour. We consider that it is most beneficial for all parties if the discussions are open and frank, to lead to a speedy resolution of the issues. With the company's wealth of knowledge in this field, we aim to give unbiased views on any proposed works and to date have successfully completed several hundred party wall commissions.
