Poringland Library Norwich, Norfolk

This project won the 2009 LABC East Anglia Building Excellence Awards in the Category of 'Best Commercial <£1m'. The achievement recognises that the quality of work that went into this project was one of the best seen in the region.

The project consisted of a single-storey new library in the centre of Poringland constructed in masonry around a steel shell. Due to severe site and time restrictions a steel frame was utilised. Constructed on a 'partnering' agreement. Single ply clad roof with large glazed atrium-style roof.
